Description
This is a varied role combining strategic and operational responsibilities, where you will partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support organizational goals and foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and policy development, while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.
Acting as a trusted advisor to managers, you will provide expert guidance on people matters, drive employee engagement, maintain HR systems and reporting, and champion initiatives that attract, develop, and retain a capable and motivated workforce.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related discipline with at least 5 to 7 years of HR management experience
- Strong knowledge of the Cayman Islands Labour Act and related legislation, as well as HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR systems (preferably BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities effectively.
- High ethical standards and strict confidentiality in all HR matters.
