As Team Lead Finance – Business Advice, you will operate at the centre of the organisation, directly supporting leadership across core enabling functions — including Finance, Risk, HR and Executive management.
You will combine team leadership, financial steering and strategic advisory, helping senior stakeholders make better, faster and more informed decisions.
Your impact
In this role, you will:
- Own the financial steering of key enabling functions each with distinct cost dynamics and content challenges
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior and board-level stakeholders
- Influence strategic decisions, investment choices and cost transformation programmes
- Build and lead a high-performing team of finance professionals
- Drive transparency, efficiency and performance across complex organisational domains

Roles and Responsibilities
You will combine leadership and content expertise:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 4–5 finance professionals, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and impact.
- Build and strengthen team expertise in financial steering, business partnering, and advisory capabilities.
- Act as the primary finance partner for functional leadership teams, providing trusted financial guidance and challenge.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles to drive business performance.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights on financial and operational results, translating complex data into compelling recommendations for decision-making.
- Advise on business cases, transformation initiatives, and cost optimization opportunities, ensuring informed strategic decisions.
- Provide forward-looking perspectives based on financial analysis, business understanding, and data-driven insights.
- Enhance cost transparency and resource allocation across functions to support effective prioritization and investment decisions.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve the quality, relevance, and impact of financial reporting, steering information, and management insights.

Your profile
You are a senior finance professional who combines analytical strength with leadership and influence.
- Proven track record in finance, business control, or strategic advisory roles within complex, stakeholder-intensive environments.
- Strong experience in cost management, performance steering, investment management, and financial decision support.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a successful history of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to translate complex financial and business data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders effectively.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to delivery and execution.
