Peninsula Post Acute is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Sous Chef to join our culinary team. We are looking for an experienced professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and service.
What You'll Do
Assist in leading the daily operations of the kitchen
Prepare and oversee the production of delicious, nutritious meals
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation
Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
Support and mentor kitchen staff
Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to create an exceptional dining experience for our residents
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience
Experience in a hospital, healthcare, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
$30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience
