POSITION OVERVIEW
The Housekeeper Performs a variety of janitorial cleaning and maintenance of agency buildings and facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Cleaning in assigned areas with daily, weekly and monthly assigned tasks to include sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing and polishing floors; shampooing carpets; dusting and/or washing windows, windowsills, window tracks and cleaning screens; cleaning woodwork and walls, cleaning inside cupboards and food storage areas, disposal of trash and replenishing sanitary supplies.
- Has responsibility for checking and cleaning filters and lint traps on appliances, in sinks and in floor drains, stove filters in hoods and coils under and behind refrigerators. Will move furniture and rearrange it neatly as needed in his/her job performance.
- Responsibility for turning out lights, locking doors as it relates to agency security. Has responsibility for maintaining inventory and MSDS sheets on stationery supplies.

- Experience in janitorial work preferred.
- Ability to visually read instructions and verbally hear and communicate with others in English.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 1-year previous related experience.
Pay Range - $20.50 /hourly
