For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong Infrastructure as Code expertise using Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventories), Python, and PowerShell in a predominantly Windows environment, with strict focus on idempotence and repeatable deployments
- Experience evolving and modernising PowerShell scripts, including refactoring and/or migration to Ansible and Python aligned with DevOps best practices
- Hands-on integration of infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines using: Bitbucket (Git), JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, XL-Deploy, and XL-Release
- Experience with job scheduling tools — familiarity with Control-M and/or VTOM (migration experience is a strong plus)
- Proficiency with operational governance tools: ServiceNow and Jira (incidents, problems, changes, end-to-end traceability)
- Experience with performance and capacity testing tools such as NeoLoad and/or k6
- Hands-on with observability and monitoring tooling: Grafana, Zabbix, ELK, AppDynamics / Elastic APM
- Secure secrets management with CyberArk / Conjur, ensuring compliant and audited automation
- Experience with messaging/event streaming platforms (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and distributed cache layers (Redis), including automated provisioning and configuration
- Fluency in English (at least a B2 level)
- Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Porto office (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
