The Drilling SME is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising drilling operations within SMEs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance and QHSE teams to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of drilling and production equipment.
• Develop detailed maintenance strategies, work instructions and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks for drilling and related equipment.
• Perform equipment criticality assessments and risk analyses to identify operational, safety and compliance risks.
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project schedules in coordination with planners and project teams.
• Manage technical documentation, including equipment drawings, manuals, certificates and asset records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Generate technical specifications, material requisitions and service requests to support procurement and maintenance activities.
• Review OEM Product Information Bulletins (PIBs) and implement manufacturer recommendations to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure maintenance and project execution are aligned with operational requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
• Promote compliance with QHSE standards and promptly address or escalate safety and quality issues.

 

Qualifications & Certifications 

• Engineering diploma is a must
