Your Role

As an Inspection Systems Engineer, you will contribute significantly to ensuring the highest quality standards in semiconductor manufacturing through the optimization and continuous improvement of automated inspection systems. You will be responsible for evaluating inspection performance, driving technology enhancements, and supporting yield improvement activities based on data-driven analysis. In addition, you will closely interact with international and cross-functional stakeholders to develop robust inspection strategies, implement innovative solutions, and ensure manufacturing excellence throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • AOI program creation, tuning, and debugging.
  • False-call reduction and inspection parameter optimization.
  • New product introduction (NPI) support.
  • Defect analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Continuous improvement projects.
  • Production line troubleshooting and support.
  • Collaboration with process, quality, and manufacturing engineers.

Your strong communication and collaboration skills allow you to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. With a structured and proactive approach, you contribute to the optimization of inspection systems and manufacturing processes. Furthermore, your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and passion for innovation help you achieve high-quality results and support operational excellence.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in AOI machine programming and optimization, SMT (Surface Mount Technology) manufacturing and Electronics manufacturing processes
  • Skills in Automated inspection systems and Production automation environments
  • Technical certifications in automation, machine vision, robotics, or quality engineering are advantageous
  • Fluency in both Hungarian and English language
