Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Huntley, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access when required, and report suspicious behavior or security-related issues according to site protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and location leadership with routine reporting, incident information, and observations that help to deter disruptions to daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
