Responsibilities
Ultrasound Tech Job Summary
- Perform a full range of ultrasound examinations within the imaging department’s scope of service
- Demonstrate proficiency in OB-GYN, Abdominal, and Vascular ultrasound techniques
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) environment
- Apply sterile techniques to assist with invasive procedures when necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environme
Qualifications
Ultrasound Tech Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program
- Registered or registry-eligible with appropriate credentialing body
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
