About Your Next Job
The job that is available is a temporary full-time role as a Finance & Compliance Coordinator. This is a temporary role within an established organisation. You will be based in Clonmel.
You will be office-based in this role five days per week. There are no hybrid working arrangements available in this role.
You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate accounting records, compliance with VAT and customs requirements, effective credit control, stock reporting, and maintenance of financial and supplier information.
You will work closely with finance, operations, logistics, customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient financial administration and reporting.

The following list is not exhaustive. The job will involve the following responsibilities, amongst others:
- Prepare and maintain prepayment and accrual schedules
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for GBP and USD accounts
- Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate asset accounting
- Prepare and submit Irish and UK VAT returns
- Manage HM Customs duty and VAT entries and address related queries
- Perform stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Produce and distribute monthly stock ageing reports
- Manage petty cash and foreign exchange petty cash transactions
In order to ensure you are selected for interview for this job opportunity, you must have the following:
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience of preparing VAT returns and supporting statutory reporting
- Proficient in MS Office with high usage to date within a professional working environment
- Very strong organisational skills and time management skills
