Job Details:

Purpose

Assist a Korean instructor in grading and class related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Grading assignments,
  • Posting grades on Canvas,
  • Other related duties as assigned, for example copying upcoming assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in Korean (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Consistently punctual, arriving promptly and reliably for meetings and deadlines.
  • Dependable in completing assignments, always following through on tasks and delivering results as expected.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, conveying information clearly, maintaining transparency, and keeping the instructor well-informed.
  • Exhibits a respectful and courteous demeanor, interacting professionally with instructor and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
  • To work in an undergraduate academic job title, you must be admitted to the university, be in good academic standing, and enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours for the semester.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Native speaker level of writing skills, and the grader's semester course load should not exceed 15 credit hours.

Salary Range

$15.00

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions.

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.

  • Use of manual dexterity.
