Overview:
We are seeking an English educator to teach RMIT programs at our Hanoi and Danang campuses (candidates may be assigned to other locations based on institutional needs, subject to prior agreement with the applicant).
This role may involve delivering short courses, pathway programs, or degree programs, and includes all aspects of teaching, including preparation, classroom delivery, feedback, and student monitoring.

WORKLOAD STRUCTURE
Classes are generally held between 8am and 6pm each day. Evening and weekend work is also available, and schedules may be a combination of weekday and weekend work depending on needs and teachers’ availability.
Offers of teaching hours will be based on new enrolments and within each term or semester. Teaching schedules can range from a partial teaching schedule to a full teaching schedule (20-25 hours per week). There are also periods of the year, based on enrolments, where it is possible that no teaching hours will be available.
MINIMUM CRITERIA
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree in TESOL or English Language is required.
- A recognised international qualification in teaching English as a foreign/second/further language (such as CELTA or equivalent.)
- At least 3 years of cumulative post-CELTA teaching experience in a similar role (formally supported by a statement of service.)
OTHER INFORMATION
As an expatriate candidate you will require a work permit to be employed in Vietnam. Once the candidate accepts our offer, RMIT Vietnam will support preferred candidates with the Work Permit application process but reserves the right to rescind a job offer if required documentation is not provided by the candidate within a reasonable timeframe.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
All academic appointments at RMIT Vietnam must meet University and local regulatory requirements, including English proficiency, background checks, and (for international candidates) eligibility for a work permit.
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For non-native speakers, the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 8.0 with no band less than 7.5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).
