Job Description
As a Security Officer in West Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, managing access points, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
- Monitor entrances, credentials, visitor logs, and deliveries to help control access to the property and report unusual activity to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, unsecured entry points, and other security-related issues.
- Assist with badge checks, visitor processing, and tenant inquiries while helping to support emergency response activities and business continuity procedures as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
