Description
Michigan Mechanical Ventures is a fast-growing contractor in Southeast Michigan looking to add talented and driven individuals to our team. We are a Family-owned Plumbing/HVAC company looking for a full-time Install Plumber/Service Plumber to join our team.
Tremendous potential to learn and gain experience and expertise in other construction and business disciplines.
Qualifications of the Plumbing Installer/Service Plumber:
- Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- A general understanding of piping practices, drainage systems, and heating equipment.
- The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
- Knowledge of building and construction.
- Thorough and detail oriented.
Responsibilities of the Plumbing Installer/Service Plumber:
- Installing, Repairing and Maintaining Pipes, Fixtures and water distribution and wastewater disposal.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains, broken water lines and frozen pipes.
- Maintain parts inventory and distribution in accordance with contract requirements.
- Locate and mark pipes and connection positions and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using plumbing equipment.
- Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to ensure system is not leaking.
