About this role
Reporting to the Department Head, you will serve as a lead for advisory-driven business development, steering pre-sales engagements that help senior stakeholders redefine their transformation journey. This is a position for a visionary who understands that true impact comes from shaping how clients think, not just what they purchase. As a trusted thought partner, your day-to-day impact includes engaging C-suite leaders and business owners to focus on high-level outcomes and long-term impact. Crafting end-to-end solution stories across AI, digital transformation, health ecosystems in the insurance domain. Collaborating with consulting and technology teams to design winning deal strategies and high-quality propositions. Directing RFI/RFQ responses by blending technical solution architecture with powerful business storytelling. Lastly, building and nurturing long-term credibility with clients through demonstrated insight and measurable results.
The Successful candidate
- 12+ years of experience and bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
- Deep background in Life and Health insurance, likely gained through management consulting, senior insurance leadership, or major transformation programs.
- A proven track record in advisory-led sales or complex, relationship-driven business development
- Familiarity with the Hong Kong Life and Health landscape, specifically regarding regulatory and operational challenges
- Domain Versatility: Practical exposure to key transformation areas, including:
- Digital underwriting and automated customer onboarding.
- Intelligent claims automation and health data platforms.
- AI-driven analytics and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) management.
- The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for senior audiences and command a room with confidence.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal) is essential for success in this market
