Full Job DescriptionHome Assist 365 Ltd. are seeking Domestic Gas Service/Breakdown Engineer’s to join their team. If you also have plumbing experience this would be beneficial.  Paying a fantastic and highly competitive salary, the role will suit someone with strong all-round experience of the industry. £3,000.00 Joining Bonus (Subject to terms and conditions to be discussed) Basic Salary: £41,000.00 - £43,500.00 per year To become part of this innovative and flexible team, you will need to have experience in the following areas.You will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs to domestic central heating systems, hot water systems and other heating appliances within the Bristol & Bath properties for the company’s insurance clients. The location mentioned above would depend on the area where you currently live. You will carry out a caseload of general repairs, maintenance, and improvements to properties in an efficient and effective manner and provide exceptional customer service. The post holder will liaise with both internal and external customers appropriately and promptly, to ensure those connected or involved in your work are aware of progress and action taken or action required to rectify the identified defects. You will also ensure that relevant paperwork is completed and recorded for all appliances serviced or repaired and that all works are carried out in compliance with Gas Safe and Health & Safety regulations.The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of repairs and servicing of heating systems including open vented systems, sealed systems, ideally within a domestic dwellings background although this is not essential. The role will require the engineer to be confident in diagnosing faults on all types of domestic gas heating boilers and hot water systems. The engineer will also need to have a good understanding in servicing procedures and be able to carry out gas safety checks.Applicants will need to hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1. Applicants may be considered if they hold CCN1 and CENWAT1 only. The successful candidate will also be required to be part of an On-Call Rota for working 1 Saturday in 6.Candidates should have: Strong Customer Service and communication skills.Able or willing to learn to use a smart phone and PDA, however training can be provided.Motivation and be able to work unsupervised.The ability to problem solve.Experience using a multimeter.Experience in all areas of Gas Safety, System and Boiler Diagnostics including repair. Full UK Driving license also required. Basic Salary: £41,000.00-£43,000.00 per annum plus Overtime Holiday Pay up to 34 days available, 20 days standard + 8 Bank Holidays, + 1 Birthday + 5 days if no sick days between Sept-April.  £3,000 joining bonus (subjects to terms and conditions to be discussed) Benefits:Additional leaveFlexitimeOvertime Working Hours8-hour shiftFlexitimeSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeSafety bonusApplication question(s):Do you have 3+ years’ experience repairing and servicing domestic gas boilersWork Location: On the road, covering postcode areas BS and BA Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you are well organised, can work off your own initiative and have a current UK driving license.
