Mustard Seed in the SouthGate Mall is hiring Dishwashers!

Our Dishwashers work together with the cooks to produce high quality food in a fast-paced environment and keep a kitchen that takes pride in its teamwork and organization running smoothly. Dishwashers are responsible for operating our dish washing machine, working together with the kitchen to maintain a clean and operating kitchen. You will do this by keeping stations stocked, assisting cooks as needed, and by keeping up on your responsibilities.

As a Dishwasher you will have responsibilities such as:

• Cleaning and maintaining prep areas.
• Compliance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Assisting with stocking and kitchen station set-up. 
• Operating the dish washing machine
• Keeping up a quick pace in cleaning dishes and getting them back out into the kitchen

And be able to meet requirements such as:

• The ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to reach, bend, and twist as needed.
• Ability to use hands to control, feel, and operate tools and objects.

The Mustard Seed was started in 1978 in Missoula, Montana by a group of friends and family. Included in that group were sisters Betty and Nancy Tokumoto and Betty's husband, David Hall. Betty and Nancy grew up in Okinawa, Bangkok, and Hawaii and attended college in Oregon; so, they have a unique ability to blend the cooking styles of the Far East with the tastes of the Pacific Northwest. Our recipes were created or inspired by the Tokumoto sisters.
