Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable Machine Operator in Griffin, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, performing basic machine adjustments, and contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. In a Machine Operator job you’ll be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery to meet production goals.
- Setting up equipment and adjusting machine settings as needed.
- Performing quality inspections on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
- Loading raw materials and removing finished products from production lines.
- Identifying and reporting equipment issues or production concerns.
- Completing production paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
- Assisting with basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.
What you’ll need:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required as we train you!
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Schedule: 1st shift Mon - Fri 7AM - 3:30PM | 2nd shift Mon - Thurs 4PM - 2:30AM
