Overview
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll maintain equipment across every area of the facility to ensure safe and effective operations. Your duties include performing routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, conducting emergency repairs, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime. You'll need 6 months of industrial maintenance experience, basic computer skills for CMMS, ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally, and must be able to work in varying temperatures from -25 to over 100 degrees. This is a cross-functional role that influences company performance through equipment maintenance.

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Pay - Depends on skill level
As a Maintenance Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our facility and influence company performance by maintaining our equipment. Our Maintenance Generalists are vital to maintaining our Team Member’s safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. DUTIES (Include, but are not limited to the following)
Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be able and willing to furnish your own tools.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Effective communication and basic math skills preferred.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
Frequent overhead work.
Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
