Summary

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking a Safety / Training / Change Manager to own the safety program, standard operating procedures and technician training, and lead adoption of new mobile maintenance management workflows, including knowledge transfer to Government staff. This is an immediate opening.

 

Essential Functions

  • Maintain the accident prevention plan, activity hazard analyses, and lockout/tagout, ladder and aerial lift, respirator and mold programs.
  • Write and control standard operating procedures (dispatch, emergency response, occupied-room access, parts custody and room turnover).
  • Train technicians on the mobile maintenance system using realistic tasks, and run observed demonstrations.
  • Track training records, certifications and expirations, and maintain the trade-competency matrix with the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Lead change and adoption activities as new buildings and workflows go live, and plan knowledge transfer to Government staff.
  • Maintain OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping (OSHA 300, 300A and 301 logs) and post annual summaries as required.
  • Develop and review job hazard analyses (JHAs) for maintenance tasks.
  • Lead regular toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Supervisory Responsibility

None required for this position.

 

Work Environment

Office and field environment, with weekly site walkdowns in barracks and housing facilities on the installation.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Standing and walking in warehouse and field settings.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lb.
  • Computer work for planning and reporting.
  • Driving a vehicle between the hub and sites.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime. Shifts may require some evening or weekend work, and this position participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency escalations as duty lead.

 

Travel

Local travel between buildings on the installation.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years of safety program management in facilities or construction.
  • 2+ years developing and delivering technical training.
  • Experience delivering OSHA 10/30 or equivalent instruction.
  • Incident investigation and corrective-action tracking.

Preferred:

  • EM 385-1-1 accident prevention plans.
  • Train-the-trainer programs.
  • Change management for technology adoption.
  • Experience with OSHA 300 recordkeeping.
  • Experience with behavior-based safety programs.

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Education or a related field, or equivalent experience..

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • OSHA 500/501 authorized trainer, CHST or ASP preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.
