The Effector Guidance Electronics Team provides support over all Electrical Engineering technologies including RF, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, and Power. The Electrical Team is searching for a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for Production Support.
The Production Support REA is responsible for supporting Missile Integration and Test of the Standard Missiles family (SM-3 & SM-6). The support includes troubleshooting test failures of electromechanical hardware at all three levels; System, Sub-System, and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA). We are seeking candidates with the skills and passion to own Test Requirement Documents (TRDs), analyze telemetry test data, perform circuit analysis, and identify failures in a real-time production environment. The candidate will work with cross-functional and cross-discipline teams of engineers to support product development and production. The candidate will be part of the missile level troubleshooting team, and work with the integration/test team, engineering, and suppliers to identify the failure root cause and implement corrective actions through the FRACAS process.
A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. A candidate is willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
What You Will Do
- Technical troubleshooting of hardware and process issues of production hardware and test equipment from system down to CCA and component levels
- Reviewing and modifying designs and system/sub-system requirements as required to solve production issues
- Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
- Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
- Performing analog and digital circuit analysis, and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronic subsystems in simulation
- Preparing technical justifications and presenting to peers, leadership, and customers
- Coaching, mentoring, and leading other engineers
- On-Site production line support
- Some travel to suppliers may be required
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in analysis, test, measurement, or integration of electrical products or systems
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
- Experience with electronics subsystems containing a combination of: antennas, RF CCAs, digital CCAs, power CCAs, and configurable logic
- Experience as an REA or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
- Experience in failure investigation, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation
- Experience with electrical software, such as: Mentor Graphics, DxDesigner, PSPICE, Advanced Design System (ADS)
- Experience with common test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Logic Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
- Effective written and spoken communication
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
