As a Security Guard Armed Perimeter Patrol Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and personnel activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, following all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
