About UENI
UENI helps small business owners get online and grow: plumbers, florists, dog groomers, local shops. Most of them are experts at their trade, not at marketing. We give them a professional website and a dedicated marketing expert who helps them turn it into more customers.
The role in one sentence
You'll be the marketing expert and trusted advisor for a portfolio of small business owners, leading monthly video calls where you explain marketing in plain language, help them take action, keep them growing with UENI, and occasionally help them create Paid Campaigns and SEO services when they're the right fit.
What a typical week looks like
Leading video calls, most of your day. You run monthly 1-hour growth sessions with your clients: reviewing their results, answering questions and agreeing on 2–3 practical next steps.
Teaching, not lecturing. You show clients, step by step and on screen, how to do things like update their Google Business Profile, ask for reviews, post on social media or email their customers.
Keeping clients engaged. You notice when a client goes quiet or feels they're not getting value, and you turn it around by focusing on the results they care about.
Recommending the right add-ons. When a client is ready to grow faster, you explain and recommend UENI's Paid Campaigns (Google and Meta ads) and SEO services honestly, based on their goals and budget.
Working with the team. You coordinate with content and support teams to solve client issues, and share what you learn to improve our marketing programs.

What you'll need
2–3 years in digital marketing, account management, customer success or consulting, ideally with small business clients.
Hands-on digital marketing skills: Google Business Profile, social media, email marketing (e.g. Mailchimp), SEO and paid ads. You can do the work yourself, not just talk about it.
A gift for simple explanations. You can explain SEO to someone who has never heard of it, without jargon, in two minutes.
Confidence on camera. You enjoy leading video calls and can keep an English conversation friendly, focused and on time.
Retention and sales instinct. You're comfortable handling objections ("I'm thinking of cancelling", "that's too expensive") and you sell by understanding needs, never by pushing.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
Good judgment with AI tools. You use them to work faster, and you know when their advice doesn't fit the client in front of you.
Self-motivated, organized and happy in a fast-moving, remote environment.
Nice to have
Experience running successful Google or Meta ad campaigns for small businesses.
Experience with a CRM or customer success platform (e.g. Planhat, Freshdesk).
Experience in a target-based role (upsells, renewals, retention).
