Job Description

As a Security Officer - Property Patrol Flex in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of financial institution facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence and representing Allied Universal in accordance with site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
