Overview

A busy, down to earth couple is moving into a home in North Miami and is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to keep it running beautifully. The couple works from home, so the ideal candidate is professional, discreet, and able to work independently. 

 

The home has no children and no pets. The family has high standards and a strong eye for detail, and they care most about consistency, meaning everything is cleaned, set up, and put back the same way in the same place each time. 

 

The schedule is Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility. This is a long term role for someone who wants to grow with the household.

Responsibilities

• Full housekeeping and upkeep of a large private residence
• Keep the home consistently clean, tidy, and organized to the family's standards
• Return every item to its proper place and maintain consistent layouts throughout the home
• Laundry, linens, and garment care
• Work closely with the House Manager 
• Notice what needs attention and take initiative
• Maintain a calm, discreet presence while the family is home

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private home
• Outstanding attention to detail 
• Hotel or yachting experience is a plus
• Strong initiative and the ability to read the room and work around the family
• Warm, easygoing, and professional
• Comfortable working in a relaxed home where the principals are present during the day
• Warm and respectful

Requirements

• Strong verifiable references from comparable private household roles
• Valid US work authorization
• Long term employment history preferred
• Willing to complete a background check
