Summary

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using .NET technologies and Angular. The role includes building robust backend services using ASP.NET Core, developing responsive user interfaces with Angular, and integrating applications with databases and APIs. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile development processes, and contribute to the delivery of secure, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

-Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

-Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

-Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

-Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using .NET Core/.NET Framework and Angular.

-Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices to support application integration requirements.

-Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies.

-Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards to ensure high-quality software delivery.

-Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

-Work with SQL Server databases, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modelling.

-Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities using modern DevOps practices.

-Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and implementation guides.

-Assist junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.

-Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve development productivity and code quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must Have Skills:

-Proficiency in .NET Full Stack Development.

Required Skills:

-Strong experience in .NET Framework, and Web API development.

-Strong experience in Angular development

-Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

-Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and database design.

-Experience working with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems.

-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

-Knowledge of dependency injection, design patterns, and secure coding practices.

-Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

-Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

-Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure is an added advantage.

-Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve development productivity and code quality.

Additional Information:

-The candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in .NET Full Stack Development.

-Hands-on experience in Angular development is required.

-A 15 years full time education is required.
