Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Taiwan Ltd is currently seeking applicants for a Director, Product Application.

Job Location:

Vishay Taiwan, Ltd was established since 1998. We provide a comprehensive service and products of discrete and passive components, Semiconductor devices and equipment applicable to automotive, industrial, communication, aerospace, computing and consumer products. We have been servicing many electronic manufacturers in Taiwan for many years.  We are located in the central core of Xindian District, New Taipei City, where the public transportation and living functions are quite convenient, just 10 minutes walking distance from Qizhang MRT Station and Yulong City mall.

What you will be doing:

• Manage response to application questions & support technical discussion and solution with customers
• Coordinate with Application Lab to support customer application simulation to support design-in & win
• Help determining ownership of product failure
• Support customer technical seminar/workshop
• Lead in defining application demo board for focused product
• Publish technical support literature and application note
• Help formulating competitive market and application segment strategies

What you will bring along:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Master or above is a plus)
• Min. 15 years of working experience in reputable semiconductor companies
• Good understanding of diodes product characteristics, technical specifications and applications
• Hands on personality with leadership traits
• Good communication in English both verbal and writing
• Proven track record of working directly with customers to understand needs and implement solutions
