Delivery Driver – Part-Time | Flexible Schedule

Orange Health Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable, and responsible individual to join our delivery team in Bracebridge!
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work, who enjoys driving, staying active, interacting with people, and making a positive difference in their community.
We take pride in providing exceptional customer service and helping our patients receive their medications and medical supplies safely and on time.
Position Details:
- Location: Bracebridge, Muskoka, and surrounding communities.
- Job Type: Part-Time Independent Contractor.
- Schedule: Flexible, based on delivery needs. Typically around 3 days per week, averaging 8–12 hours weekly, with occasional additional weekday or weekend deliveries. Days and hours are not fixed and may vary depending on delivery volume.
- Vehicle: A company delivery van is provided for most deliveries. Applicants must also have access to their own reliable, insured vehicle as a backup when needed.
Compensation:
- $30 per hour when using our company-provided van.
- $1.25 per kilometre when using your own vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver prescriptions, medications, and medical supplies to patients and facilities.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and mileage logs.
- Handle medications and confidential patient information responsibly.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and occasional handling of medical supplies.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle with appropriate insurance for backup deliveries.
- Must be able to provide evidence of a clean background check.
- Friendly, dependable, punctual, and customer-service-oriented.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable driving a delivery van and travelling throughout Muskoka and surrounding communities.
- Organized, self-directed, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication and navigation.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages and medical supplies, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Additional Assets:
- Previous delivery or courier experience.
- Familiarity with Bracebridge and surrounding Muskoka communities.
- Experience delivering medications or medical supplies.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
No previous pharmacy experience is required. We value reliability, a positive attitude, good communication, and a genuine desire to help others.
