Regional CDL-A Flatbed Driver in Tooele, UT – $100K Average Yearly Pay

Flatbed work with the shipper doing the loading, so you spend your time on the road, not at the dock. This regional CDL-A job in Tooele, UT hauls roofing and building materials to customers across 11 western states. You get an assigned automatic sleeper, extra pay for tarping and hazmat loads, and the company covers your hazmat endorsement.

Pay & Bonuses

• $0.64–$0.68 per mile.

Routes & Freight

• Roofing and building materials delivered on flatbeds across UT, CO, CA, ID, WA, OR, MT, NE, AZ, NM, and TX.
• Shipper loads the trailer.
• Receiver unloads at the customer site.
• Mostly hazmat loads.
• Strapping required on every load.
• Tarping required approximately once a week.

Equipment

• International automatic sleeper trucks.
• Assigned truck.
• Flatbed trailers.

Endorsement Requirement

• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• Cost reimbursed by the company.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Able to strap and tarp flatbed loads, including working from a harness at height.
• Able to chain up when weather requires.
• Comfortable driving mountain routes.
