About Us

TouchAfrika is a luxury travel brand connecting the African diaspora and curious travelers to Ghana through elevated, community-driven experiences. Our flagship Ghana Luxe Carnival Experience (April 16, 2027) is a curated, high-touch journey limited to 25 travelers per group, designed for those who want something more intimate than a typical tour. We’re also growing our audience through our live shows, Sister to Sister and TouchAfrika Q&A, where real talk meets culture and travel.

The Role

We need a creative, results-minded marketing intern who can help turn views into inquiries and inquiries into booked travelers. This isn’t a “post and pray” role. You’ll help build a clear path from content to conversation to deposit, all with the polish and exclusivity our brand is known for.

What You’ll Do

• Create and schedule organic content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, and clips from live shows)
• Support live streams on Restream: promotion, chat engagement, and post-show repurposing
• Write captions, hooks, and calls to action that drive DMs, inquiries, and deposits
• Craft content that conveys exclusivity, insider access, and elevated service, never discount-style promotion
• Respond to comments and DMs, and follow up with prospects in a concierge tone: personal, polished, and warm
• Track performance (inquiries, qualified leads, deposits) and report weekly
• Build social proof through traveler testimonials, countdown content, and urgency campaigns

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a marketing, communications, business, or related program (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Comfortable with CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools
• Excellent writing skills and a good eye for luxury branding
• Organized, self-motivated, and reliable with deadlines
• Interest in travel, culture, and Africa and the diaspora is a plus
• Bonus: experience with email marketing, CRM tools, or sales follow-up

Compensation & Bonuses

In addition to your [hourly rate / monthly stipend], you’ll earn performance bonuses on every traveler you help book:

• 1-4 bookings: 3% of the trip fee
• 5-9 bookings: 4% of the trip fee
• 10+ bookings: 5% of the trip fee
• Group fill bonus: [$250-$500] each time a group reaches 25 travelers

Trips range from $3,800 to $8,800, so bonuses can range from roughly $114 to $440 per booking. Bonuses are tied to your unique tracking link or promo code and paid on cleared payments, after the cancellation window closes.
