Hybrid Working, Job ShareJob Description Summary
.Job Description
Job Title: Associate – Healthcare, TMT & Leisure Sector Coverage
Location: London
Hours: Full-Time
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week or 60% of our time, at our London office.
About this Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Healthcare, Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT), and Leisure team within Corporate Coverage. You’ll support large UK and international clients with revenues above £500m, helping them to grow, invest and navigate change while developing your analytical, commercial and relationship management skills.
As an Associate, you’ll help manage a portfolio of large corporate clients across Healthcare, TMT, and Leisure. You’ll contribute to the origination and execution of new business opportunities, preparing high-quality pitches, briefing materials, financial analysis, and client insights to support client meetings, transactions, and internal decision-making.
Working closely with product partners and risk teams, you’ll help deliver solutions that meet client needs while aligning with the Group’s credit and profitability requirements. You’ll monitor client performance, assess risks, and support credit submissions, using sound judgement to progress work independently and seek guidance when appropriate.
You’ll build strong relationships across the organisation, adopt new tools and ways of working that improve the client and colleague experience, and take ownership of developing your technical capability and sector expertise. You’ll gain exposure to lending, debt, risk, and cash management, alongside products delivered by teams across the Group.
Why Lloyds Banking Group?
We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you!
What we’re looking for?
- 2+ years’ experience in financial services, working with high-profile clients in both positive and challenging situations.
- Strong client relationship skills and experience delivering excellent client service.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting financial information and producing clear, concise credit papers, investment committee submissions and client proposals.
- Excellent financial modelling skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Strong judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Group.
And any experience of these would be great:
- Professional qualifications such as ACT, CFA or CIMA.
We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds. Whilst this advert may reference specific experience, we recognise that skills are developed in different ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.
