As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Perform armed patrol duties throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, including regular and random inspections of assigned areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
