Job Description

As a Security Officer Turnstile Operations in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit for personnel, vendors, and authorized vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations through established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at access points while communicating professionally with site personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
