Description
One of our clients are looking for a Senior Technician or an Engineer who is looking for their next step in the Manufacturing and testing department:
Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration on production test benches and instrumentation.
- Diagnose root causes of equipment faults, troubleshoot failures, and rapidly resolve frontline technical disruptions.
- Support engineering change qualifications (ECNs/ECOs) and update standard operating procedures, schematics, and technical records.
- Lead assigned technical workstreams, continuous improvement initiatives, and specialized engineering projects.
- Provide direct technical assistance and escalation support to manufacturing operators and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Formal qualification (Degree, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience using core bench test gear, such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, and programmable power supplies.
- Effective interpersonal and technical communication skills, with the ability to interface across shifts and functional teams.
- Demonstrated comfort working proactively, safely, and independently in a dynamic manufacturing and test environment.
- Ability to lead the team
- Fluency in the English language: Written or verbally
