Jabil is seeking a Quality Technician to work in Florence, KY, Building 300.

 

Shift schedules are as follows: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm

What will you do?

• Support NPI activities in the preparing NPI related activities such as but not limited to: VA preparation & maintenance, line readiness audit, NPI build inspection, training, process audits
• Prepare and organize raw data for analysis and reporting
• Perform routine process and product audits
• Support new product introductions and related experiments as directed by leadership
• Review defect samples and verify purge processes
• Track and follow up on DA, ECN, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
• Review non-conforming materials and products for compliance
• Conduct and support production inspections to meet customer requirements
• Compile and maintain quality documentation and records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
• Communicate findings and escalate concerns when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

How will you get here? 

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma required (Associate's Preferred)
• 3 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality type role

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• General knowledge of electronic component handling.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret drawings, graphs, ratios, and technical data.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems and advanced PC skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, visual aids, and technical documents.
• Effective communication skills, including presenting information to various audiences.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work within standardized processes.
