The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Sales Representative for our Advanced Wound Care and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) business, you will manage our product sales within the assigned geographical territory, Western Cape region (Northern suburbs & Winelands).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading your territory to achieve target by going the extra mile
- Implementing Solventum solutions to achieve better patient outcomes
- Determining which strategies to apply to get the buy in for best practices in hospital environment
- Supporting the nurses and surgeons at all times with patient focus, product training and being in theatre and manage units (sometimes over weekends)
- Willingness to be on-call and ensuring best patient outcomes
- Building strong relationships with various stake holders throughout the hospital
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher OR Tertiary qualification (diploma/degree)– Marketing, Medical field, BSc, Medical Technology
- 5+ years working experience within a sales environment in the medical sector
- Private medical sector experience and qualification in Advanced Wound care or Negative Pressure Wound Therapy ideally
- Very strong organization and planning skills for managing your assigned territory
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to understand customers’ needs, training and presentation skills
- Effective communication in English (written and spoken); strong sales and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, problem solving attitude, positive and energetic person
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Sales and Marketing from an accredited institution
Work location:
- Remote (must be based in Western cape)
- Geographical scope: Western Cape region (Northern suburbs & Winelands)
Travel: May occasionally be required to travel to Gauteng and to be available over weekends
No relocation assistance
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
