We are looking for a Maintenance mechanical Technician to undertake the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant machinery and equipment.
A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance routines on all plant machinery and equipment, such as, motors, gearbox, pumps, etc.
Able to perform hands-on repairs and installation of machinery parts, such as bearings, pulleys, and mechanisms.
Knowledge of plumbing installations (CPVC and Threated).
Strong knowledge of LOTO will be needed.
Use of forklift, man-lift, power tools
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry
Good understanding of mechanical systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
Desire to learn, ask questions.
