Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its well-established and growing medical team in Shelton, Connecticut.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The physician will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team and have access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources.

Essential Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy.
- Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of GI conditions, including GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and colorectal disorders.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
- Provide patient education regarding gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified / Board Eligible in Gastroenterology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
- Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates and recent fellows are encouraged to apply.
