Job Description

As a Security Officer Training Campus in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following airport and transportation facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned terminal areas, employee spaces, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
