Dentistry | Pediatric DentistryThe Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a motivated Research Assistant in pediatric dentistry with a documented interest in medical/dental integration and Medicaid policy to join Dr. Beau Meyer’s research team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to new research focused on improving pediatric oral health, with an emphasis on addressing oral health disparities through health systems interventions aimed at improving care for underserved populations.
This position is a term position for 1 year; it may be renewable based on performance and availability of future funding.
The successful candidate will work under Dr. Meyer’s direction to complete data collection for ongoing research projects, including, but not limited to:
- Evaluating medical/dental integration as a socio-behavioral health systems intervention
- Evaluating the impact of Medicaid policies on oral health outcomes

Experience and Education:
Required: A bachelor's degree in dentistry or dental hygiene or equivalent experience in a dental clinic setting. This is a non-clinical position, but dental clinical knowledge is essential to the duties required of the job.
Desired: Proficiency in literature reviews. Familiarity with oral health programs for underserved communities. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
