As a Director, you'll play a key role in advancing our enterprise Financial Services strategy, helping deliver innovative solutions that support customers across Walmart's physical and digital ecosystem. Working closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and international market teams, you'll identify new growth opportunities, shape scalable capabilities, and help bring strategic initiatives to life across the broader Walmart platformAbout the team:
Walmart’s Financial Services team is dedicated to transforming access to affordable financial solutions across our omnichannel network. The team integrates customer insights, financial expertise, and retail operations to develop innovative offerings that address unmet needs and create value. Collaborating closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and external partners, the team drives scalable solutions that enhance business performance. This group leads cross-functional initiatives, manages strategic priorities, and fosters a results-oriented environment focused on delivering impactful financial services to customers and the business.
What you'll do...
- Develop and execute strategies that scale Walmart's global Financial Services portfolio.
- Identify market and industry growth opportunities, translating insights into recommendations, priorities, and actionable roadmaps.
- Partner cross-functionally to evaluate, prioritize, and launch new capabilities that enhance the customer experience and drive growth.
- Help establish scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices that improve execution and accelerate innovation across markets.
- Define and monitor key business and operational metrics to measure performance, inform decision-making, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable value.
- Advance Walmart's broader Financial Services strategy by ensuring solutions complement priority products and create meaningful retail outcomes across our omnichannel ecosystem. Additional opportunities exist to support other initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and other enterprise partners.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate insights into business outcomes.
- Experience developing business strategies, evaluating new opportunities, and building compelling business cases.
- Experience building, launching, or managing Financial Services, Payments, Banking, FinTech, or related products.
- Proven ability to translate insights into scalable products, capabilities, or experiences.
- Experience defining KPIs and success metrics to measure business impact and guide decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, complex environments—creating clarity, driving alignment, and delivering measurable results.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
