Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday As a Capability & Automation Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping how people interact with digital products and capabilities across mobile, fixed, and SaaS environments. You'll help create simple, intuitive, and reliable experiences by combining configuration, automation, analytics, and continuous improvement. Working closely with product, UX, testing, and customer-facing teams, you'll turn ideas into practical solutions that deliver meaningful business value and great user outcomes. You'll configure, optimise, and enhance digital capabilities to meet evolving business and user needs. You'll translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions for configuration and automation activities. You'll lead the delivery of straightforward changes and collaborate with experienced colleagues on more complex initiatives. You'll identify opportunities to improve user experiences through automation, smarter processes, and data-driven insights. You'll contribute to solution design, testing, and implementation to ensure high-quality outcomes. You'll manage and maintain configuration data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with agreed standards. You'll use coding and automation tools to streamline processes, analyse data, and unlock productivity improvements. You'll investigate issues, support problem resolution, and work with support teams to improve end-to-end experiences. You'll engage with stakeholders across the business, communicating complex ideas in a clear, accessible, and compelling way. You'll document solutions and knowledge clearly to support collaboration, learning, and future enhancements. You'll experiment with new technologies, explore innovative ideas, and help shape what's next for the capabilities you support. You'll measure the impact of improvements and use insights to drive continuous optimisation of tools, processes, and user journeys. You'll bring experience in business-facing configuration, software development, automation, or design-related roles. You'll be comfortable working in fast-paced environments where priorities can evolve and collaboration is key. You'll have strong analytical skills and enjoy using data to solve problems, uncover insights, and improve decision-making. You'll be naturally curious, with a passion for understanding how things work and finding better ways to deliver value. You'll be confident collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, building positive relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
