DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Analyst, Data Analytics & Visualization, located in Bangalore, India.
The Analyst, Data Analytics & Visualization role supports DePuy Synthes by transforming data into meaningful insights that inform business and product decisions. This role contributes to analytics initiatives by analyzing structured data, identifying trends, and creating clear visualizations and reports for stakeholders. It is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in analytics while supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret business and operational data to support strategic and tactical decision‑making .
Perform basic trend and variance analysis to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities .
Develop dashboards, visualizations, and standard reports to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders .
Support data entry, validation, and maintenance activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency .
Contribute to analytics projects, programs, and process improvements under close supervision .
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into data outputs .
Apply DePuy Synthes and Johnson & Johnson Credo values in all interactions and deliverables.
Where required to be managed locally:
Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.
Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Required:
2-4 years of relevant work experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
Foundational experience working with structured datasets and performing basic analysis.
Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., dashboards, charts, scorecards).
Basic understanding of databases, data models, and data quality concepts.
Preferred:
Experience with business intelligence or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, or other data analysis tools.
Exposure to working in a global or matrixed organization.
Understanding of healthcare, medical devices, or regulated environments.
Experience supporting dashboards or recurring performance reports.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to communicate insights clearly in written and visual formats.
Other:
Language: Proficiency in English (required).
Travel: Minimal travel expected (up to 10%, domestic).
Certifications: Analytics or data visualization certifications (preferred, not required).
