IT Business Systems Analyst

Description

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining system integrations and components, including but not limited to; application-to-application integrations, services, internal and external Applications, file transfer and queries. Business Systems Analyst is fully responsible for participating in requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and the documentation of the applications being integrated. Primary responsibilities will also include troubleshooting existing integrations and working with the outside application development team. 

Will act as the primary liaison between internal operations, software vendors, and the IT department while supporting day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide end-to-end project management support by planning, and coordinating activities to ensure successful implementation of the assigned task. Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements 
• Provide inputs to or create program deliverables to include documentation, briefings, summary reports, proofs of concept, and pilots by coordinating with other team members and ensure problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and stakeholder satisfaction
• Regularly monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables Qualifications
• Ability to identify complex problems, review related information to develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions
• Coordinates with outside programmers to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements to build reports and/or data extracts to support business analysis
• Support developers on identifying and resolving system defects by acting as liaison, developing solutions for day-to-day errors, and bug fixes while monitoring and supporting helpdesk tickets.
• Understand and guide the ERP improvement process in order to meet both immediate and long-term business needs
• Maintain and or create workflows to document process flow and process owners
• Provide primary end-user troubleshooting and support for the ERP system.
• Provide support for peripheral equipment including document   scanners, security cameras, and other IT assets
• Prioritize problems and requests (new and existing) according to severity\
• Lead on tools related to Data retention and visualization tools (DocsVault, Tableau, ERP)
• Participation in the implementation and adherence to company compliance standards 

Requirements

Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced root cause analysis, problem solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics (SPC, Probability, cPK, pPK)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills to lead and work with operational teams, internal and external stakeholders.
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Superior project management and time management skills.
• Self -motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
• Lean Understanding (as a guide for implementing improvements) and demonstrated ability to create flow diagrams and process maps.
• Blueprint Reading skills
• Reading and interpretations skills - ability to interpret technical documentation & testing specifications.
• Technical writing skills

Education / Experience:

· Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Computer Science, similar discipline, or equivalent experience.

· 2-4 years of IT experience.

· Experience participating in cross functional teams with demonstrated project management experience

· Prior experience working with Software development and life cycle.

· Experience with Windows operating systems

· Data Base Management Experience ERP Software Experience

· Complex systems integration

· Experience in structured release & deployment best practices.

· Development experience with Tableau, ZOHO, Sage or related software a plus

· Experience with Industry compliance standards

· Strong documentation skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Background in General IT

· Part of a small IT team with dynamic responsibilities; fast paced and challenging
