With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, Fyfe is expanding its Power & Electrification capability and is seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Control (EIC) BIM Modeller to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position based in the Philippines, providing the opportunity to work on major Australian infrastructure and energy projects while collaborating with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

This role will be employed through Fyfe's trusted employment partner in the Philippines, ensuring local employment support, compliance, and a seamless employee experience, while working as an integrated member of the Fyfe team.

The Opportunity

You will produce enhanced digital deliverables, including 3D modelling, design drafting, and checking of project drawings and models. Applying advanced BIM and CAD expertise across multiple disciplines, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital engineering outcomes for complex power and electrification projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models in Revit from concept through detailed design and IFC stages.
• Prepare accurate 3D models, drawings and detailing based on engineers' design requirements and project inputs.
• Model and coordinate electrical elements within the federated BIM environment.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve spatial conflicts and clashes using Revit and Navisworks.
• Develop models to the required LOD 300-500 and maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce coordinated plans, sections, elevations and construction drawings directly from the BIM model.
• Undertake model QA/QC, maintenance and model reviews to ensure compliance with project BIM standards and requirements.
• Work closely with engineers and the BIM team to resolve modelling issues and support the delivery of coordinated design packages.
• Support quantity take-offs and model information extraction where required.
• Maintain project BIM standards, file structures and modelling consistency to support efficient transfer of design information into construction.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical BIM modelling and drafting within an engineering consulting or construction environment.
• Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's qualification in Drafting, Building Design, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks for model coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Working knowledge of power and electrification infrastructure design standards and client BIM requirements.
• Understanding of Australian Standards and engineering drawing conventions.
