Summary:
As a CyberArk Platform Automation Engineer, a typical day involves managing, automating, and maintaining CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) infrastructure across enterprise environments. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability, scalability, and security through automation, lifecycle management, upgrades, migrations, and proactive monitoring. The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to optimize CyberArk platforms, improve operational efficiency, and support large-scale privileged access environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Manage and maintain large-scale CyberArk environments and platform infrastructure.
Perform CyberArk Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities including platform upgrades, version migrations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Design and implement automation solutions for CyberArk platform administration and operational tasks.
Automate server provisioning, platform deployments, upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance activities.
Ensure CyberArk platform availability, performance, and operational stability across multiple environments and clusters.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for CyberArk services, platform components, operating systems, and infrastructure health.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to support privileged access management requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and enhance platform efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills:
Proficiency in CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk infrastructure and platform management.
Experience supporting large-scale CyberArk environments.
Experience operating and maintaining multiple CyberArk environments and clusters.
Proven experience performing CyberArk Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities.
Experience with CyberArk platform upgrades and version migrations.
Knowledge of infrastructure refreshes and platform modernization activities.
Strong understanding of CyberArk upgrade methodologies and minimizing operational impact.
Strong automation background using PowerShell, Ansible, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment approaches.
Ability to automate server provisioning, platform deployments, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Experience implementing and managing CyberArk platform monitoring solutions.
Understanding of CyberArk services, platform components, PSM session utilization, server capacity, and performance monitoring.
Strong understanding of privileged access management and cybersecurity best practices.
Good To Have Skills:
Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks.
Knowledge of ITSM processes and enterprise security operations.
Experience integrating CyberArk solutions within complex enterprise environments.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in CyberArk Platform Administration and Automation.
Experience in CyberArk Lifecycle Management (LCM), upgrades, and migrations is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, and Jenkins is required.
This position is open for PAN India location.
