Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Officer Graveyard Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, or property concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
