Job Description Summary
The Marketing Optimization Lead drives marketing excellence across GE HealthCare's Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS) Marketing Operations team. This role owns the design and delivery of best-in-class marketing processes, operating rhythm, and capability programs that enable the AIS marketing function to plan, execute, and deliver with consistency. A champion of marketing excellence, AI adoption, and continuous improvement, this individual ensures the team operates at its best and is always prepared to deliver an effective annual marketing cycle.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Process Optimization and Operating Rhythm
Own and continuously improve the AIS marketing operating rhythm, ensuring seamless execution and consistent cadence across all key activities
Design and embed standard work and best practice processes that reduce friction and enable the marketing team to focus on high impact work
Lead the annual marketing planning process across the AIS segment, coordinating timelines, templates, and cross functional alignment
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline or improve marketing workflows in partnership with the Associate Director
New Product Introduction (NPI) Management
Manage the NPI process for AIS Marketing, ensuring new product launches are coordinated and executed in alignment with go to market timelines
Maintain NPI standard work, templates, and governance frameworks that enable consistent, high quality product introductions
Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Medical Education to ensure marketing readiness at each NPI milestone
Marketing Education and Capability Building
Champion marketing education delivery across the AIS team, ensuring marketers have access to the skills and tools to perform at a high level
Manage and maximize the value of marketing licences, memberships, and learning platforms, keeping the team aware of and actively using available opportunities
Curate regular learning content and best practice resources to keep the marketing team current and informed
AI Use Case Champion
Serve as the AIS Marketing Operations champion for AI and emerging marketing technology, driving awareness and adoption across the function
Identify, pilot, and scale high value AI use cases that improve marketing productivity, content quality, or decision making
Stay current on relevant AI developments and bring recommendations to the Associate Director on where technology can create advantage
Compliance and Ad Hoc Support
Provide light support to the compliance function as needed, including assistance with AST workflows and related tasks during peak periods
Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects that support the broader marketing function and the businesses we serve
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, or a related role, ideally within healthcare or life sciences
Demonstrated experience building or improving marketing processes, planning frameworks, or operating rhythms
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver on time
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to senior leaders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with marketing or project management platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience championing AI tools or emerging marketing technology within a team or organization
Familiarity with NPI processes, learning platforms, or capability development programs
Working knowledge of GE HealthCare's Aggregate Spend Tool (AST) or similar compliance systems
Experience working in a matrixed global organization
