Shop Educator & Trainer (Licensed Cosmetologist)

Are you passionate about developing hairstylists and creating exceptional guest experiences? Drybar is looking for an experienced Shop Educator & Trainer to lead stylist education, elevate technical skills, and foster a positive, high-performing salon culture. This role is ideal for a licensed cosmetologist who enjoys mentoring others, leading by example, and helping a team achieve excellence.
What You'll Do
As a Shop Educator & Trainer, you will be responsible for onboarding and training new stylists, coaching existing team members, and ensuring every guest receives the signature Drybar experience. You'll conduct hands-on training, provide ongoing education, evaluate technical performance, and support leadership in maintaining service quality and operational standards. You'll also assist with stylist interviews and auditions, train teams on new products and promotions, monitor retail and service performance, and help ensure compliance with company policies and state cosmetology regulations. This position requires performing a blowouts as a stylist on the floor while serving as a technical leader and role model.

Qualifications
Current State Cosmetology License required
Minimum of 2 years of professional hairstyling experience
Previous training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and computer skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
