Facilities Management / Mobile Team
Company Overview:
MST Facilities Sdn Bhd is an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) company providing M&E, HVAC, engineering maintenance, and building maintenance services to multinational corporations, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, and critical facilities across Malaysia.
We are looking for Electrical Facilities Technicians to join our maintenance team and support our growing customer base.
Position Summary:
The Electrical Facilities Technician will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, and building maintenance works at customer facilities.
The role will also work closely with our Mobile Team, supporting multiple customer sites and attending to maintenance work orders as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for Electrical, Mechanical, Air Conditioning, and Building Services.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and facility-related equipment.
- Support the maintenance team in carrying out electrical and building maintenance works.
- Attend to customer work orders and breakdowns within the required response time.
- Conduct routine inspections and report equipment abnormalities.
- Assist with installation, testing, repair, and replacement of electrical equipment.
- Work closely with the Mobile Team to support multiple customer sites.
- Complete maintenance checklists, service reports, and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures and customer site requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building services.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environments is an advantage.
- Fresh Electrical Technicians are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Basic to good knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with building electrical and M&E facilities services.
- Basic knowledge of air-conditioning and mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Able to use common electrical testing instruments and maintenance tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Added Advantage:
- PW4 certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- PDL driving licence.
- Experience working with a mobile maintenance team or supporting multiple sites.
Personal Attributes:
- Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
- Willing to travel to different customer sites.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
- Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
